Monomoy Welcomes Our Summer 2023 Interns

Monomoy has welcomed four new faces this summer! Our internship program kicked off last week, and we are ecstatic to have these stellar individuals support Monomoy professionals and our management teams.

Matthew Wang

Matthew is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Economics. He is a member of the varsity lacrosse team, most recently competing in the Men’s World Lacrosse Championship.

Maham Rao

Maham is an avid cricket fan and often finds herself playing badminton at the local recreation center. She is a rising Junior at the University of Houston, working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.

Gabriella Di Domenico

Gabriella is a Chicago native and a rising Junior at the University of Michigan. She has been playing the violin for eight years, and continues to teach her students while studying and cheering on the Michigan football team.

Isabel Zhang

Izzy is a rising senior at UPenn, studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She recently returned from a semester abroad in Ireland, where she was studying at Trinity College Dublin.

About the Program

Our internship program invites rising juniors and seniors to get hands-on experience working at a dynamic private equity firm. Started in 2021,the goal is to provide undergraduates broad exposure to private equity, working directly with Monomoy professionals and management teams.

Monomoy’s internship program aims to give students exposure to the inner activities of the firm. Interns will work directly on deals, support portfolio management teams, spend time with department leadership, improve their analytical skills, and build on their professional development. Each intern will be assigned to a portfolio company and have the opportunity to spend a week at the company’s locations to meet with management teams and visit plant floors.
