Ethan is the Head of the Operating Team at Monomoy. He is responsible for leading a team of Monomoy operators who conduct operational and commercial diligence, design bespoke value creation plans and work with portfolio management teams to drive equity value creation. Ethan joins Monomoy from Cerberus where he was President of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company (“COAC”). COAC is the operations arm of Cerberus Capital Management and consists of approximately 100 professionals focused on due diligence, portfolio oversight and performance improvement. Ethan was a senior operating executive at COAC overseeing all of the operating professionals and responsible for leading due diligence, implementing strategic initiatives and working with management teams on performance improvement. Prior to joining Cerberus in 2006, Ethan was CFO and Head of Strategy at SunGard Erisk. Ethan is a graduate of Swarthmore College and he received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
In his spare time, Ethan loves to golf. He has even played in the middle of the night in Iceland. After shooting his average score, it was determined that he is just as bad at golf at night as he is during the day.
