Helen is President of the Operating Team at Monomoy and manages a group of operators focused on revenue growth and profit improvement. Prior to joining Monomoy in 2018, Helen was an operating director at Windjammer Capital Investors, where she partnered with portfolio company management to drive organic growth and value creation. Prior to Windjammer, Helen spent nine years at Emerson Electric in their leadership development program. While at Emerson, Helen had direct P&L responsibility for their analytical instrumentation business. Previously while at Emerson, Helen was responsible for sales and marketing within their Rosemount Measurement business. Helen graduated from Kettering University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and received an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
As one of Monomoy’s avid skiers, it’s no surprise that one of Helen’s early jobs was as a ski instructor at Mogul Mouse Ski School. Managing 3- and 4-year-olds on skis was the ultimate training ground for her life as an Operator—because if you can handle toddlers on a slope, you can handle anything. When she’s not busy criss-crossing the country visiting our portfolio companies, Helen likes to relax in the horse country of Kentucky.
