Monomoy Named International M&A Awards Winner for Acquisition of Waupaca Foundry

Monomoy acquired leading global iron castings supplier Waupaca Foundry in early 2024 from Proterial, Ltd. Headquartered in Wisconsin, with operations dating back to 1871, Waupaca Foundry supplies gray and ductile iron to diverse markets using state-of-the-art processes and technology led by high-caliber people and processes. Waupaca Foundry is the leading supplier of cast and machined iron castings for automotive, commercial vehicle, agriculture, construction, and other industrial markets.

The 15th Annual M&A International Awards are presented by The M&A Advisor, a third party not affiliated with Monomoy. To be considered for the M&A Deal of the Year, transactions must have been concluded between January 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. In addition to this requirement, Monomoy was assessed based on written responses to questions on the award application. Monomoy does not know the exact number of managers surveyed for the recognition and therefore does not know the percentage of managers that received this recognition. This recognition is not indicative of Monomoy’s future success and does not reflect the experience of Monomoy or its investment professionals. Monomoy paid a standard application fee to be considered for the award but did not provide any compensation to receive this recognition. Additional information is available upon request.
