Partnering with Monomoy: Inside the Dynamic Partnership with Powersports Manufacturer Sportech Inc.
Monomoy recently sold Sportech Inc., a premier platform in the powersports industry, to Patrick Industries. During the four years that Monomoy collaborated with the leading designer, manufacturer and assembler of cab components and assemblies, Sportech doubled its production capacity and benefitted from a number of operational improvements.
Monomoy acquired the founder-owned business in 2019 and leveraged our deep powersports industry knowledge and experience partnering with middle-market industrial and consumer businesses to help drive growth. The unique strength of our closely integrated investment and operating teams is the foundation of our operations-driven value-creation strategies, enabling Monomoy to position companies like Sportech for future success.
“Monomoy has some processes they lean into their portfolio companies with, and there were some things that they brought to bear like operational support that we were actually ready for in the business and excited about bringing some of that on board,” shared Sportech CEO Jim Glomstad.
