Hunter Hughes

Hunter joined Monomoy from Mudrick Capital Management, where he was an analyst focused on opportunistic credit. Prior to Mudrick, Hunter worked on the distressed credit desk at RBC Capital Markets. Before beginning his finance career, he served for six years in the U.S. Marine Corps, completing four deployments. Hunter received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Hunter holds the dubious honor of being the "oldest D1 lacrosse player in history." His competitive streak isn't limited to the field: he raced 600cc sportbikes at an amateur level, competed in an international video game tournament and joins Monomoy's growing ranks of winter sports enthusiasts as an avid snowboarder.
