Jaime Forsyth Named to WSJ’s Women to Watch List

We are proud to announce Jaime Forsyth’s recognition on The Wall Street Journal’s Women to Watch in Private Equity list. This annual list honors women across three categories: senior deal makers, rising star deal makers and fundraising or limited partner professionals. With nearly 100 nominations, Jaime is among only 10 women honored in the Senior Deal Makers category. These women were selected for their breadth and depth of deal-making experience, as well as their dedication to empowering future generations of investment professionals.

Jaime Forsyth was named Partner and Head of the Investment Team at Monomoy in December 2021. She joined the firm as an Analyst in 2008 and, through her hard work and dedication, has become a valued member of the firm’s senior leadership team. In her 15-year tenure, Jaime has markedly shaped the firm’s investment strategy, deal-sourcing approach and company culture. She played a pivotal role in Monomoy’s acquisition of Japs-Olson, a direct mail and custom print solutions provider that was family-owned and -operated for over 100 years, and Astro Shapes, a leading manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions. Jaime worked with the Investment and Operating Teams to evaluate both companies and helped to identify and enact several opportunities for value creation.

In addition, Jaime heads the diversity and inclusion committee, which launched a summer internship program to offer rising juniors and seniors from underrepresented colleges and universities unique exposure to private equity and investment professional responsibilities. Monomoy looks forward to welcoming a fourth cohort of interns this summer.

Congratulations to all the women honored. See the full list of honorees in this WSJ Pro Private Equity Special Report here.

This recognition is presented by the Wall Street Journal (the “WSJ”). The WSJ compiles its Women to Watch list from nominations submitted by firms across the industry over a roughly six-week period in three different categories: senior deal makers, rising star deal makers and fundraising or limited partner professionals. These were narrowed down by the WSJ Private Equity team, based on the nominee’s deal or fundraising track record and overall contribution to her respective organization. This recognition is not indicative of Monomoy’s future success and does not reflect the experience of Monomoy or its investment professionals. Monomoy did not provide any compensation to reflect this recognition. Additional information is available upon request.
