Renn is the head of the Origination Team where he leads the sourcing of investment opportunities. Prior to joining Monomoy in 2021, he was a senior investment banker at Macquarie Capital in the aerospace & defense group. Renn started his career in transaction advisory services at Deloitte and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
In 2024, Renn was named as a finalist in the Business Development Professional of the Year category at the 23rd Annual M&A Advisor Awards and in 2023, was named in ACG’s Business Development Professionals to Watch.
Despite being a huge Yankees fan, Renn was a bat boy for the Mets. He is also the only Monomoy employee to sing at Carnegie Hall.
