Two Monomoy Deals Recognized in the 2026 Mergers & Acquisitions’ Mid-Market Deal of the Year Awards

Monomoy is proud to announce that our exit of Astro Shapes and the acquisition of McKenzie Creative Brands have both been awarded Honorable Mentions for the 2026 Mergers & Acquisitions’ Mid-Market Deal of the Year Awards.

This annual recognition — the longest-running honors program in the industry — celebrates significant transactions completed in a year of shifting economic policy and ongoing global transitions.

Monomoy’s 2025 exit of Astro Shapes marked a successful partnership with the family-founded manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions. Working alongside the family-led management team, Monomoy drove operational improvements, commercial investments and an increased focus on value-added products, in turn strengthening Astro’s market position despite challenging post-COVID market conditions.

Additionally, Monomoy recently acquired McKenzie Creative Brands, the leading manufacturer and distributor of taxidermy supplies in North America. With a strong legacy and a broad product offering, McKenzie is well-positioned for growth. This acquisition was also recognized as an Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Q4 2025 Notable Deal.
