Jaime has graced us with her presence since 2008, leading a number of Monomoy’s most successful equity and debt transactions. During her tenure, she has also led the firm in number of shoes owned per work day. In addition to managing deal execution, Jaime manages the investment team and leads various continuous improvement initiatives.
Jaime has been recognized with several industry awards and honors including Mergers & Acquisitions list of Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A in 2024 and PE Hub’s Women in PE: Class of 2024. In 2023, Jaime was included in The Wall Street Journal’s Women to Watch in Private Equity list. In 2022, she was awarded Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investor by GrowthCap and Top Woman Dealmaker by Global M&A Network. She was also featured in Mergers & Acquisitions’ 11 Rising Stars of Private Equity (for the deals, not the shoes) in 2018.
Jaime joined Monomoy from Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where she was an investment banking analyst in the leveraged finance group. Jaime holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. She speaks Italian. She’s a classical pianist. Really.
Jaime is also our resident speed demon, with the highest number of speeding tickets in the office. Happily, she has only broken one bone (a rib) in her life, which she did while winning first place in a Monomoy go-kart race. She is somewhat competitive.
