This award recognizes the partnership and support Monomoy has provided to sixteen family-owned businesses over the last nineteen years. Our team is committed to continuing founders’ legacies by providing our portfolio companies with the guidance and resources in operations, management and strategic decision-making that can fuel sustainable and long-term growth.

The annual list highlights private equity, venture capital and debt firms with the best track records of successfully backing entrepreneurs. Inc. spoke directly to our portfolio company CEOs and founders, who shared their experiences and stories of growth while partnering with Monomoy.

This Founder-Friendly Investor recognition is presented by Inc. Magazine, a third party not affiliated with Monomoy. For the recognition, Monomoy was assessed based on founders and portfolio companies’ written questionnaires about their experience partnering with private equity managers. Monomoy does not know the exact number of managers surveyed for the recognition and therefore does not know the percentage of managers that received this recognition. This recognition is not indicative of Monomoy’s future success and does not reflect the experience of Monomoy or its investment professionals.
